Claude can now watch you work, then take the chore over

Anthropic calls it Record a skill. You perform a task on your screen while narrating the rules out loud, including the exceptions, and Claude saves the whole thing as a command you fire with a slash. For a small paper the target is obvious: the police blotter, the real-estate transfers, the obituaries, the insertion orders you re-key by hand every week. Below: what it is, five places a paper can point it, the exact steps to build your first one, and the Mac-only catch that leaves most of us watching for now.

Did it work? Hit reply. Did it come back sounding like a stranger? Hit reply harder. That’s the interesting failure, and it’s almost always fixable.
